The Drift

Our “wedding hub”: social, energetic, walking distance to everything

We’ve reserved a total takeover room block of all 28 rooms at The Drift, a stylish, minimalistic hotel in the heart of San José del Cabo. It’s modern, laid-back, and reflects the Baja vibe we love: desert textures, courtyard gatherings, and a little mezcal energy.

There’s also a Drift in Santa Barbara, so choosing this one felt symbolic — a bridge between our home and our celebration.

We’ll be hosting the welcome reception there on Friday, and it’ll be the hub for spontaneous hangs and pre- & post-party vibes. We recommend this spot for those who don’t mind some late night music. If you’re interested in staying here, let us know in your RSVP. Space is limited, so we’ll reach out individually to coordinate.

Tropicana Inn by Hilton

Classic & calm tropical garden

This is our recommendation for a chiller vibe. A beautiful hotel with a large heated pool, a relaxing hot tub and a wellness center. It’s centrally located and is just a 5-minute walk from The Drift.

If you’re booking Tropicana, let us know in the RSVP form, we have a custom link for our room block (you can also book with Hilton points at standard points booking rates).

Hotel El Ganzo

Artsy, beachside, and full of local art + music

An elevated option for those who want scenic ocean views and a vibey swimmer-friendly beach scene. It’s close to Crania (fun late night afterparty spot) and adjacent to an active marina. Please reserve directly with the hotel. 10 minute Uber from/to historic center. Our Sunday Brunch + Beach hang will take place at the beach club near here.
